This exceptional harp is an artistic masterpiece, intricately carved in the rococo style reminiscent of the opulence of King Louis XV's era. The design features elaborate leaves, scrollwork, and elements inspired by seashells, all gilded in luxurious 23-karat gold leaf. The gilding is applied in four exquisite finishes: mirror, matte, oil gilding, and 18-karat lemon gold.
This harp boasts 46 strings, ranging from 0 octave G to 7 octave D, and produces a sound that is both rich and bright, with an unparalleled full tone quality. It is truly a rare find, one of only two known to exist, with the other residing in the Lyon & Healy museum.
